Dapoxetine should be taken as prescribed by a doctor. Take the medication exactly as directed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break the tablet. It is important that the tablet has at least an hour to take effect. Dapoxetine is available in tablet form. Drug-Drug Interactions:Inform the doctor if you are taking phenothiazine (thioridazine), anti-psychotic (lithium), antibiotic (linezolid, telithromycin, erythromycin, clarithromycin), an amino acid (tryptophan), pain killer (tramadol, ibuprofen, aspirin), anti-HIV (ritonavir, saquinavir, nelfinavir, atazanavir, amprenavir, fosamprenavir), anti-fungal (ketoconazole, itraconazole, fluconazole), anti-depressant (nefazodone), blood thinner (warfarin), impotent agents (sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil), calcium channel blocker (diltiazem, verapamil), anti-emetics (aprepitant), BPH agents and anti-migraine medicines.
Drug-Food Interactions:Do not take St. John’s wort (herbal supplement used to treat depression) while taking Dapoxetine. Avoid consuming grapefruit juice within 24 hours of taking Dapoxetine as it could lead to an increase in the level of Dapoxetine in the body.
Drug-Disease Interactions:Inform the doctor if you have cardiovascular/heart disease, a history of dizziness due to low blood pressure, depression, mania, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, epilepsy/fits, bleeding or blood clotting problems, glaucoma, kidney problems, or moderate to severe liver problems.
Appropriate medical advice is required from the doctor before taking Dapoxetine. Dapoxetine is not indicated for use in treating heart conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) or Generalisedumar (UAE/Vietnam).Dapoxetine resistance characterized as a slow disease progressor in elderly patients, which increases the risk of venous thrombotic collapse and stroke. Dapoxetine is not indicated in children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Chloramphenicol
The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of chloramphenicol will increase the effect of Sildenafil by affecting the patient hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism.
Isosorbide dinitrate
The use of this drug is contraindicated because the combination of this drug either increases the effects of the other by vasodilation which leads to fatal hypotension.
Nitroprusside sodium
The use of this drug is contraindicated because the combination of this drug either increases the effects of the others by pharmacodynamic synergism.
Enzalutamide
Use alternative drugs because the use of enzalutamide will decrease the effect of Sildenafil by affecting patient hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism.
Acetazolamide
Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of Sildenafil increases the effect of acetazolamide by pharmacodynamic synergism and it also increases the risk of hypotension.
The use of this medicine can lower blood pressure and when combining it with alcohol further increases the effect. You may experience dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, and heart palpitation. Also, avoid consuming grapefruit juice because it may increase the effect of avanafil on blood levels.
Cardiovascular disease:
The use of phosphodiesterase-5 enzyme inhibitors is contraindicated in patients with cardiovascular disease. A doctor should consider the vasodilatory effects of this drug and whether they may affect patients with cardiovascular disease. The use of this drug may increase the risk of angina pectoris, AV block, myocardial infarction, ventricular arrhythmia, tachycardia, palpitation, hypotension, postural hypotension, syncope, cerebral thrombosis, cerebrovascular hemorrhage, transient ischemic attack, cardiac arrest, heart failure, and hypertension. These events can occur during or after sexual activity.
Renal dysfunction:
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with severe renal disease or on renal dialysis. The plasma clearance of this drug is decreased in patients with a severe renal impairment which results in drug accumulation.
Liver diseases:
The use of this drug is not recommended for patients with severe hepatic impairment because the pharmacokinetic disposition of this drug has not been assessed in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

Do not take Dapoxetine+sildenafil if you have severe heart or liver problems, a recent history of heart attack or stroke, hypotension (low blood pressure), eye diseases or vision problems, a history of fainting, and mania or depression. Inform your doctor if you are taking medicines such as nitrates (to treat blood pressure or chest pain), antidepressants, antibiotics, or painkillers. Dapoxetine+sildenafil should not be taken by children and women. It should be used with caution in the elderly. Do not take excessive amounts of alcohol while using Dapoxetine+sildenafil as it may impair the ability of erection and increase the risk of side effects. Dapoxetine+sildenafil may cause dizziness and affect vision, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you are not fully alert.
